Looking for a reason to change to Touch?
I already offer many of the Touch products as physical cards, why should I change to an electronic system?
Touch gives you the same great margins on these products, but takes up no shelf space, it minimises the risk of theft and requires no outlay for stock. You are rarely going to run out of stock. Re-ordering is simple and the latest products are available automatically – just leave your terminal on overnight. You will be able to offer customers a wider range of products and services from a huge range of suppliers at the touch of a finger, without installing any new systems
How is the Touch system installed?
Touch can be installed on most bank owned EFTPOS machines that are in partnership with Touch. However, if your EFTPOS machine is not suitable, a replacement can generally be installed at no extra cost by your bank. If you would like Touch on your Point-of-Sale system, your system vendor will be able to advise you on how to go about obtaining Touch services.
What costs are associated with the Touch system?
Touch is provided as a free service with no associated costs. There are no start-up fees, no monthly selling targets and no termination fees. Please note some of Touch's partners may have termination fees as part of your EFTPOS agreement.
What are the technology requirements for the Touch system?
Installing Touch on an EFTPOS machine requires it to have a standard (analogue) telephone connection. Touch also works on a number of GPRS (or sim card) based terminals. Installing Touch on a Point-of-Sale system requires it to have a broadband connection, such as ADSL.
Will these extra services create more paperwork?
Registering with Touch involves setting up a direct-debit agreement with us, so that you can pay for the Touch products and services you sell.
